Goal
The purpose is to foster knowledge and love of gardening, to further community beautification and to aid in
protection of trees, wildflowers, and birds.
Pledge
I pledge allegiance to the flag of The Garden Clubs of Illinois and to the principles for which it stands —the
beautification of our State, kept void of litter, the protection of all wildlife and the conservation of its
natural resources for present and future generations.
Conservation Pledge
I give my Pledge as an American to save and faithfully defend from waste the natural resources of My Country –its
soil, minerals, forests, water and wildlife.
